Concentrated fabric softener

Brilliant Fabfresh

For use in commercial and on premises laundries, this concentrated fabric conditioner with added perfume utilizes a blend of anti-static fabric conditioning agents that are designed to give a long lasting residual effect and leave fabrics with a soft feel and fresh fragrance. It coats the surface of the fibre with an invisible layer which has lubricating qualities, makes the fibres feel smoother and prevents the build – up of static electricity. CAUTION:  Do not use on micro-fibre materials or bed pads/mattress protectors and do not tumble dry excessively as it will eliminate the residual perfume required.

For use in commercial and on-premises laundries.  For automatic dosing where chemical concentrations are electronically controlled by the Arpal Gulf free-on loan wall mounted dosing system. Wash programme chemical dose rates are set for each site based on local conditions, wash types and machinery, and are devised following an extensive site survey and audit of laundry wash processes.

Used as one part of a liquid laundry system which uses a combination of chemicals to make up a wash formula for specific wash loads based on fabrics types and soiling levels. Wash programmes are devised between the chemical supplier and the customer, and the appropriate chemical dose for each programme is controlled automatically.

LAUNDRY LOGIC FOR THE PROFESSIONAL OPL: For detailed information please see our downloadable e-book at for top tips and good practices in the professional laundry.

Collection of soiled linen:

Operators should always wear disposable gloves when collecting soiled linen from the point of use. Strip beds, towels from bathrooms and table linen from the restaurant and place in the soiled linen cart for transportation directly to the laundry. Always keep clean linen and soiled linen separate. Good Management of the movement of soiled and clean linen, and the laundry environment in which the linen is stored, will reduce the risk of cross contamination.

Loading the washer extractor:

Neither under load or overload the washer machine - load linen at 80% of the machine capacity and process at the appropriate washer temperature and chemical formula. Always check that pockets are empty of items prior to washing. Keep all linen off the floor to avoid extra soiling. Ensure items of similar colour, construction, and soil level are washed together.  Overloading will cause excessive wash liquor retention and will result in poor results due to inefficient rinsing.

Unloading the washer extractor:

When the wash cycle has completely finished, unload clean linen into clean linen cart and transfer to the tumble dryer. Do not interrupt wash cycles and only use a fast wash programme if absolutely necessary - a full wash cycle gives better results. As tumble drying is the most energy intensive/expensive part of the laundry process the fabric’s moisture should be lowered as much as possible by the washer’s final extract cycle, ideally run for nine minutes at full speed.

Chemical containers must be stored in a safe manner and in a suitably locked storage are away from the general public. Ensure colour coded laundry tubing tags are in place so that the right tubing is clearly marked for the right detergent drums. Never mix chemicals together or re-fill containers from other vessels or drums.

Not classified as hazardous, however we advise that normal cleaning safety practises are adopted. Wear protective gloves. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. COSHH is a law that requires all employers to take steps to control substances (chemicals) that may cause harm to employees, contractors and visitors to the workplace. Every work environment will be different in terms of the hazardous chemicals that are present, and how these are used, and individual assessments may be necessary to consider how chemicals can be handled and stored safely, in addition to ensuring that appropriate PPE and training is provided for employees. Product SDS and Product Guidance Sheets are intended to help when carrying out a COSHH assessment, however if further advice is needed with regard to specific issues in your work environment we are happy to provide advice.
